This policy explains how Text.Cab collects, uses, shares, and retains information needed to operate booking, dispatch, communication, and payment workflows.

other users of Text.Cab services.

Guest Information. Users may provide information relating to Guests receiving transportation services. Guest information may include:

Users remain responsible for information submitted on behalf of Guests.

transportation preferences;

Payment Information. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We may receive:

Text.Cab does not directly store complete payment card numbers.

4. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through third-party providers including Stripe, Inc.

process refunds;

comply with financial regulations.

Use of payment services remains subject to applicable provider terms and policies.

5. Communication Services

Text.Cab may provide communication systems including:

masked text messaging;

masked calling;

Telegram bots;

Discord bots;

future messaging integrations;

other communication technologies.

These systems are intended to facilitate transportation services and related operational activities.

6. Communication Logging and Monitoring

Communications facilitated through Platform systems may be:

monitored;

reviewed;

retained;

for purposes including:

safety;

quality assurance;

fraud prevention;

dispute resolution;

customer support;

legal compliance;

operational administration.

Text.Cab may retain communication records as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

7. Communication Windows

Communication access may be limited to authorized Communication Windows defined by Platform policies and Definitions.

Text.Cab may modify communication functionality, communication availability, and communication access periods from time to time.

8. Information Sharing With Fleets

Information may be shared with participating Fleets, Drivers, and Dispatchers as reasonably necessary to perform transportation services. Shared information may include:

Rider information;

Guest information;

pickup locations;

drop-off locations;

Trip timing;

service requests;

operational instructions.

Information shared with transportation providers remains subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

9. Fleet Channels

Bookings originating through Fleet Channels remain subject to Text.Cab privacy practices.

Fleet Channel participation does not transfer ownership or control of user information.

Fleet Channel types may include:

Fleet Link;

Referral Code;

Custom Domain Redirect linked to Fleet Link.

10. Service Providers

Text.Cab may share information with service providers assisting Platform operations. Service providers may include:

Stripe;

Twilio;

Postmark;

Google Maps;

analytics providers;

infrastructure providers;

fraud-prevention providers;

customer-support providers.

Service providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to provide services.

11. Analytics and Platform Improvement

Text.Cab may use aggregated, anonymized, statistical, operational, marketplace, performance, and analytical data to:

improve Platform functionality;

improve marketplace operations;

improve pricing models;

improve transportation services;

improve fraud prevention;

improve user experiences;

support business operations.

Such information may not identify specific individuals.

12. Fraud Prevention and Security

Text.Cab may review information relating to:

suspicious transactions;

duplicate accounts;

unusual booking activity;

chargebacks;

payment disputes;

platform abuse;

Information may be used to investigate, prevent, detect, or mitigate fraud and security risks.

13. Marketing Communications

Operational communications are separate from marketing communications. Operational communications may include:

booking confirmations;

Assignments;

Trip updates;

safety notifications;

support communications;

account-related communications.

Marketing communications may include:

promotions;

newsletters;

announcements;

marketing campaigns.

Users may opt out of marketing communications where applicable.

Operational communications may continue when necessary to provide Platform services.

14. Messaging Consent

Text.Cab may send transactional and operational SMS communications relating to Platform services. Such communications may include:

verification codes;

account authentication messages;

booking confirmations;

Driver Assignments;

Trip updates;

ride-related communications;

safety notifications;

customer support communications;

account-related notices.

Message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply.

Users may reply STOP to opt out of eligible SMS communications and HELP for assistance.

Text.Cab does not sell mobile telephone numbers to third parties.

SMS consent and mobile telephone numbers collected for operational communications will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Operational messaging may be necessary for the provision of certain Platform services.

15. Data Retention

Text.Cab may retain information for purposes including:

legal compliance;

accounting;

fraud prevention;

dispute handling;

customer support;

operational administration;

business continuity.

Retention periods may vary based upon legal, regulatory, operational, and business requirements.

16. User Rights

Text.Cab cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the internet or stored by third-party providers.

Information may be processed, stored, transferred, or accessed within the United States and other jurisdictions where service providers operate.

By using the Platform, users acknowledge that information may be transferred across jurisdictions as reasonably necessary to provide services.

Text.Cab may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

enforce Platform policies.
